Always clean the blade after using and apply oil or wax (please use cooking oil on the product) before you store it, for its longer life and durability.
Keep your Damascus blades healthy with proper regular cleaning after every use and the oil it with food-safe mineral or coconut oil, it will prevent the coming on the blade which will keep your blade safe for life
